Karnataka state rivers are divided
into 2 groups they are
1) EAST WORDS
FLOWING RIVERS.
2) WEST WORDS FLOWING
RIVERS.
Krishna and its sub rivers such as Bhima,
Ghataprabha, Malaprabha, Tungabhadra and Vedavathi are at North
side. And Kaveri and its sub rivers such as Hemavathi, Arkavathi, Laksmana
teertha and Kabini are at South
side and they will join Bangara Kolli.
Sharavathi,
Kalinadhi and Netravathi rivers are used
for generating Electricity. And they flow towards west side and they
will join Arabian sea.
River Krishna flow towards Andra
Pradesh and joins Bangara kolli, River Kaveri flow towards Tamil
nadu and joins Bangara koli.
Millet, Rice,
Wheat, Togari, are crops grown
in Karnataka.They also Harvest Coffee, Sugarcane, Ground nut. Cotton is
one of the important crop.
Iron, Gold,
Copper, Magnese, Aluminium, are important minerals available in this
state.
This state is also having famous gold
mines such as 1)Kolar gold mines 2)Hatti gold mines( Raichur district).And Kuduremukha (Chhikamagalur district) for Iron mines.
Engaladalu (Chitradurga district)
for Copper mines. Kumsi (shimogha district) and Dandeli for Magnese
mines.
The important items used in
international marketing are
SILK, ODOUR SOAP, and lastly OIL.
In karnatka there are more number of
villages so “AGRICULTURE” is one of the
important occupation.Some important industries of India are located at
Bangalore this is an intresting fact.
Big industries such as HINDUSTAN
MACHINE TOOLS, INDIAS CLOCK INDUSTRY, INDIAS EART MOVERS LIMITED, INDIAS
ELECTRONIC INDUSTRY, HINDUSTAN AEROPLANE INDUSTRY, INDIAN TELEPHONE INDUSTRIES are
important industries located in Bangalore.
